Speed Orthondontic Treatment

At Baker Orthodontics of Calhoun, GA, we offer state-of-the-art techniques to shorten treatment time. One method we use is the Propel system. Propel is a micro-invasive treatment that uses tiny perforations to stimulate the bone around the root of the tooth to remodel faster allowing the tooth to move quicker and easier. An additional method available for you to get your braces off faster is our Odyssey Diode Laser treatment. We offer Mini-Twin brackets, which have a mesh bonding base that allows them to curve and more accurately conform to your teeth. Over the course of the treatment, the Mini-Twin bracket system needs fewer archwires than standard brackets, which increases the overall comfort of the patient over the duration of the treatment.

Many patients enjoy its smaller, more compact size, which enables it to be less noticeable, while retaining the capability for effectiveness. While its profile is up to 30% smaller than its competition, it maintains the standard size for its bracket slots, which enables it to maintain the stability and control so important to the treatment process.

The size and the structure create an aesthetically pleasing effect while the added comfort and basic efficiency of the appliance make it a good choice for most patients.

Another treatment solution Dr. Baker will be able to draw from are low-profile brackets. Low-profile brackets are smaller and sit closer to your teeth, reducing protrusion overall. This reduced protrusion will result in less gum-to-bracket contact and friction, allowing for a better treatment experience overall.

You may also be a candidate for TADs (Temporary Anchorage Devices), which are used to enhance anchorage to decrease treatment time. These devices are immobile and are designed to help push, pull, lift or intrude teeth that are being straightened.
